Loan Terms and Conditions

Mortgage Loans

• Collateral: Property
• Maximum % on Collateral: 70%
• Loan Repayment Period: 5 years
• Interest Rate (Annual Rest): 10% p.a. with a rebate of 2% for repayments without default

Surety Loans

• Collateral: Savings, Share Capital of Borrowers & 3 Sureties
• Maximum % on Collateral: 80%
• Loan Repayment Period: 2 years
• Interest Rate (Annual Rest): 8% p.a.

Education Fund / Merit Awards

Recognizing Academic Excellence

Since 2002, Koperasi Nesa Pelbagai Berhad has been honoring the academic achievements of its members’ children through the Annual Academic Merit Awards. These awards serve as a testament to the organization’s commitment to education and excellence.

Criteria for Merit Awards

The Merit Awards are bestowed upon students who have demonstrated outstanding performance in their SPM and STPM examinations. To qualify for the awards, students must achieve a minimum of 4 ‘A’ grades in SPM or 2 ‘A’ grades in STPM. Each subject scored with an ‘A’ grade entitles the recipient to a cash gift of RM100.00.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Merit Awards, the student’s mother or father must be a current valid member of Koperasi Nesa Pelbagai Berhad with a minimum share capital of RM1000.00 as of 31st December 2019.

Application Process

Members can submit their application letters for the awards, providing their membership particulars along with certified copies of their children’s exam results and copies of their children’s MyKad. Application letters for the Year 2019 Awards must be submitted by 30th September 2020.

Banking Facility

Koperasi Nesa Pelbagai Berhad provides its members with convenient banking facilities through Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN). Members can subscribe and make payments through BSN A/C No.14-10029-000-4619-25. This facility is accessible at more than 380 BSN branches and over 600 BSN ATM centers nationwide.

Housing Schemes

In addition to its commitment to education, Koperasi Nesa Pelbagai Berhad is actively involved in housing development projects across the country. Currently, the organization is undertaking a housing development project in Rantau, Negeri Sembilan. The development consists of 62 units of single-storey semi-detached houses, 5 units of double-storey bungalow houses, and 1 unit of single-storey bungalow.

Membership

Eligibility Criteria

To become a member of Koperasi Nesa Pelbagai Berhad, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Malaysian Citizenship: Applicants must be citizens of Malaysia.
• Age Requirement: Applicants must be above 18 years of age.
• Residency or Employment: Applicants must be residents of Malaysia, employed in Malaysia, or own land in Malaysia.
• Clean Record: Applicants must not have a conviction for a registrable offence, must not be mentally disabled, undischarged bankrupts, or expelled from membership of any cooperative society. Additionally, a period of one (1) year must not have lapsed from the date of expulsion.

Application Process

Submission Requirements

• Applicants must complete the Koperasi Nesa Pelbagai Berhad Membership Application Form provided by the cooperative.
• The Application Form must be fully completed and signed by the applicant.
• Additionally, the Form must be signed by a proposer and seconder, both of whom must be existing members of the cooperative.

Share Subscription

• New applicants aged 50 years and below are required to subscribe to a minimum of 1,000 shares (RM 1,000.00).
• Applicants above 50 years of age must subscribe to a minimum of 3,000 shares (RM 3,000.00).

Entrance Fee

• An Entrance Fee of RM50.00 is required with the submission of the Koperasi Nesa Pelbagai Berhad’s Application Form. This fee will be refunded if the application is rejected.
• Former members applying for re-membership are subject to an Entrance Fee of RM100.00.
• Nominees or legal representatives of deceased members applying for membership within six months after the member’s death will not be charged an Entrance Fee.
