  • Submission of one copy of the bank account statement
  • Presentation of two pieces of verified identity cards
  • Provision of two latest payslips, covering one month (verified)

Guarantor Requirements:

  • RM 5000 guarantee from two KOPEN members
  • Submission of one piece of the current salary slip

With a minimum deduction of RM 10 per month, members can avail themselves of this facility, providing coverage against various unforeseen events.

Death Benefit Scheme

Under the death benefit scheme (skim khairat kematian), Koperasi Jabatan Penjara Malaysia Berhad deducts a total of RM 100.10 per year from the member’s account. This deduction entitles the member, their spouse, and children to receive benefits in the unfortunate event of death. For instance, if a member contributes RM 20,000.00, their spouse RM 3000.00, and each child aged one week to 21 years up to a maximum of 4 people, they will be entitled to a lump sum payment of RM 700.
